Nashville recording artist, singer, songwriter, and Transylvania University alum Sarah Beth Terry is the epitome of a woman raised in rural country who rejected societal norms and expectations. Sarah Beth admits she’s relentless in her work. Her life motto is, “If I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it right.”

As a staff writer for Three Hounds Music, she wrote 645 songs in 2018, exceeding her annual quota by 633 songs. “If I’m going to catch lightning,” she says, “I need to put about 70 lightning rods on the roof.”  Terry has caught lightning a couple of times in her career with two well-placed cuts.

One song, “We Are All God’s Children,” is on the Gaither Vocal Band’s album and quickly rose up the gospel charts. The second, a song that Sarah Beth co-wrote with songwriter and artist Anthony Smith, “I Hate the Taste of Whiskey,” was released by country artist Craig Morgan.  Source: Three Hounds Music.
